Delete your Relievr account.
How to delete your account, and what happens to your data when you do.
Delete in the app
The quickest way to delete your account is inside the Relievr app:
- Open Relievr and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. This cannot be undone. If you want to use Relievr again later, you will need to create a new account.
Delete by email
If you no longer have the app, or cannot sign in, email support@relievr.co.za from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my Relievr account”. If you signed up with a phone number, include that number.
We may ask you to confirm the request before we act on it, so that nobody else can delete your account. Once confirmed, we delete the account within 30 days and email you when it is done.
What we delete
Deleting your account removes your personal information from Relievr, including:
- your account details: name, email address, phone number, profile picture and sign-in details
- your profile answers, such as age and gender
- your pain areas, pain scores and posture details
- your routines, custom routines, completed stretches, streaks, favourites and reminders
- your Relievr AI conversations
- your notifications and the record of which subscription you hold
What we keep
We remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons. Any such records are kept only as long as the law requires.
Crash and diagnostic data is kept in aggregate and is not tied to your account after 90 days. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Relievr account does not cancel a Relievr Premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel yours first in the App Store (Settings, your name, Subscriptions) or in Google Play (Profile, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions). Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases under their privacy policies.
