Terms & conditions.
The rules for using Relievr, including the fact that it is not medical advice.
The agreement
These terms are between you and Relievr, and they govern your use of the Relievr app and relievr.co.za. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you don’t accept them, don’t use Relievr.
Health and safety
Relievr is not medical advice. It provides general wellness and mobility content designed with qualified movement professionals. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it is not a substitute for seeing a physiotherapist, doctor or chiropractor about a specific problem.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any exercise programme, particularly if you have an existing condition or injury, are recovering from surgery, or are pregnant. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
You use the routines at your own risk, and you are responsible for working within what your body can do on the day.
Your account
You need an account to save routines and track progress. Keep your credentials to yourself, give us accurate information, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. You must be at least 16 to sign up. If you are 16 or 17, you need the consent of a parent or guardian.
What you may do with Relievr
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Relievr for your own, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, download, re-record, redistribute or publicly show the stretch videos or any other part of the library; use Relievr to instruct or train other people commercially; reverse engineer the app; or use automated means to scrape content from it.
Subscriptions and payment
Relievr is free to download. Full access needs a monthly or yearly subscription, billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and those stores handle payment, renewal and cancellation. Without a subscription some features are limited, including later protocol phases, and the app may show ads.
New subscribers can start with a free trial. The length of the trial and what it includes are shown in the app before you start. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it becomes a paid subscription at the price shown. Current prices are shown in the app and on the store page before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.
- If you cancel during a free trial, you are not charged.
- Refunds are handled under the policy of the store you bought through.
- Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects a renewal.
Content you create
Custom routines and the notes you log stay yours. You give us the limited permission we need to store them, sync them between your devices and show them back to you in the app. We don’t publish them, and we don’t share them with other users.
FitBot
FitBot gives general guidance on stretching and mobility. It is automated, it can be wrong, and it is not a practitioner. Where something needs a real professional, FitBot will say so, and you should follow that advice.
Our intellectual property
Relievr, the Relievr name and logo, the app, the filmed library, the protocols and everything else we make available belong to us or to the practitioners we license them from. Nothing in these terms transfers any of that to you.
Service availability
Stretch videos stream from our servers, so parts of the app need a connection. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may run maintenance that interrupts access. We will give notice where it is reasonable to do so, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Relievr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or puts other users or the service at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as liability, intellectual property and governing law, continue to apply.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, Relievr is provided “as is”, and to the extent the law allows we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for your Relievr subscription in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the current version, and where a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Relievr after that means you accept the new terms. Last updated 8 October 2026.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not affect any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
